Monarch secures Virgin Atlantic as a new customer

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL), celebrating 50 years as a leading MRO, has signed a base maintenance agreement with Virgin Atlantic.

The airline is a new customer for MAEL who will carry out C1 checks for Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9 fleet between 2017 and 2021. All the maintenance work will be carried out at Monarch Aircraft Engineering’s state of the art facility at Birmingham Airport and is due to commence at the end of September 2017.

I am delighted to have signed this agreement with Monarch Aircraft Engineering for our B787 C1 checks. We have selected MAEL based on the high quality maintenance services they provide. We look forward to working with MAEL at their Birmingham facility over the coming years.
