Aircraft Type Training

EASA Part 147 Approved aircraft type training is delivered by the Monarch Aircraft Engineering Training Academy. MAETA has gained a worldwide reputation for its continuing high standards and provides full EASA Part 147 B1 and B2 training on the following types; Airbus A320 family, A330, A300, Boeing 737, 757, 767, 787 Dreamliner and EASA Part 66 category “A” basic training. Our highly skilled and professional instructors are approved under EASA Part 147 and the UK Civil Aviation Authority. We are able to complete the training at our London Luton Airport facility or in our classrooms at Manchester. If preferred, training courses can be offered at client's facilities worldwide.

To ensure our instructors remain at the forefront of aviation training technology and to match our status as a Boeing GoldCare provider our instructors have attended and completed the first EU based EASA approved Boeing 787 Dreamliner training courses.

Type Training Courses

MAETA state-of-the-art training facility has a well equipped learning centre with spacious classrooms, together with student study areas, access to online libraries and IT facilities and importantly, the ability to spend real time on aircraft at Monarch Aircraft Engineering’s hangar facilities thus enabling students to build up practical and theoretical knowledge. The training can be provided at any of our UK locations or overseas.

EASA Part 66 Module Exams – Coming soon

We are able to offer basic Licence module courses and examinations at MAETA. These exams are fully approved under EASA Part 147 for supporting the issue of EASA Part 66 A licences.

Familiarization Courses

Our experienced team of permanent dedicated instructors are experts in providing familiarisation training on numerous aircraft types. Courses can be customised to meet all levels of requirement and understanding and are suitable to various technical and non technical groups.

General Training Courses

As specialists in delivering state of the art training our instructors are able to provide training courses to meet all of your requirements. These include Engine Ground Running, Human Factors, EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety (SFAR 88), Confined Spaces, Manual Handling, Working at Height and a wide range of other aviation related topics including Structural Hand Skills Courses.

Safety Management System

Monarch Aircraft Engineering has introduced to its aviation Safety Management System (SMS) a Monarch Standards and Values Information scheme (MSAVI) designed to emphasise the need to personally 'Value' the benefits of doing things safely. Being committed to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards and by concentrating its SMS around the personal and business values, Monarch has continued to build on its already high levels of employee engagement. The training can be customised to your particular needs and can be based on formal classroom environment or simply run as management team briefings.
