Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) and Cyprus Airways are pleased to announce they have signed a 3 year C check maintenance support agreement. MAEL will be providing base maintenance support to the Cyprus Airways fleet of 2 X A330 and 7 X A320/319 at its London Luton and Manchester International Airport facilities.

Dr Xenophon Xenophontos, Engineering & Maintenance Manager of Cyprus Airways said “We expect that MAEL will provide us with a high quality maintenance service at extremely good value, and we are pleased to be working with MAEL once again”.

Derek Gibson, Sales & Marketing Director for MAEL said “we have a history of working collaboratively with Cyprus Airways and we are extremely pleased to be working with such a fine airline once again, the agreement represents an exciting opportunity for MAEL as we have secured both the narrow and wide body fleets”.

The agreement runs until 2013 and has been designed to allow flexibility as the Cyprus Airways fleet develops during this period.
