Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) is a division of Monarch, a leading UK independent airline group and provides Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) services for Monarch and other airlines and operators worldwide. Providing base maintenance hangar facilities at London Luton Airport (headquarters) and Birmingham Airport. At all locations MAEL perform A checks up to heavy C and D checks, line maintenance, engineering and technical support, with Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), EASA Part 21 Subpart J and GCAA CAR 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval (DOA), AOG support, component and full material support, spares trading sales, loans and exchanges of Airbus, Boeing and OEM aircraft parts, aircraft wheels, brakes and engine services and EASA Part 147 and GCAA CAR 147 approved technical type training. Line maintenance is carried out within the UK and overseas with permanent line stations established at London Gatwick, London Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Malaga, Warsaw and Kiev where technical handling is carried out on Boeing 787 Dreamliner, 777, 767, 757, 737, Airbus A380, A350, A330, A320 family, A310, A300B4, A300-600, Embraer 170, 175, 190, 195 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
