Based at London Luton Airport Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) is a sister company to Monarch Airlines providing base maintenance, line maintenance, engineering and technical support, component and full material support, aircraft engine services and technical training.
Base maintenance, including ‘A’ checks up to heavy ‘C’ and ‘D’ checks are carried out at MAEL’s hangar facilities located at London Luton and Manchester International Airports on Boeing 757, B767, Airbus A300-600, A300B4, A320 family and A330.
Line maintenance is carried out within the UK and overseas with permanent line stations established at London Gatwick, London Luton, Birmingham International, Manchester International, Malaga, Alicante, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Kiev, Goa and the Maldives, where line maintenance technical handling is carried out on Boeing 737CG, B737NG, B757, B767, B777, Airbus A300-600, A300B4, A310, A320 family and A330 aircraft.
MAEL also provides engineering and technical support, including technical records, short, medium and long term planning, schedule development, power plant management, reliability reporting, SB and AD review and recommendation and consultancy services.
With a comprehensive aircraft spares holding and component repair capability MAEL is uniquely positioned to meet your material requirements either with an outright sale, loan, exchange or repair, we can also assist with engine storage and QEC change and repair.
In addition to being an EASA 145 and FAR 145 repair station MAEL is also an EASA Part 21 design authority and is able to provide technical training through its EASA 147 training facility.
